Contractors Review Board
Purpose:
The purpose of the Contractors Review Board is to ensure proper administration of contractor licensing and discipline of licensees. The Contractors Review Board primary responsibility is to provide qualified trades workers for the citizens of St. Johns County by upholding contractor licensing requirements to assure public safety within the construction industry.
General Qualifications:
The Board is comprised of (9) members, each serving a (4) year term. The Board includes representation from each of the following licensed professions; General Building, or Residential Contractor, Roofing Contractor, Swimming Pool Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical or Air Conditioner Contractor, Class II Contractor and two citizens with no contractor industry involvement.
Meeting Schedule:
This Board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:00pm in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.

Established by Ordinance 76-20 (amended by 94-50, 96-51 and 02-48), the Contractors Review Board is comprised of 9 members, each serving a four-year term. New members must be residents of St. Johns County for at least two years prior to appointment. The Board includes representation from each of the following licensed professions; General, Building, or Residential Contractor, Roofing Contractor, Swimming Pool Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical or Air Conditioning Contractor, Class II Contractor and two citizens with no contractor industry involvement.
