RESUBMITTING:
A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the permit center.
B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (Job and Office). One copy of the removed/old pages from the JOB Copy will need to be submitted and marked "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated to this permit. All plan papers must be the same size.
C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation. Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional.
- The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comments was addressed. EX - "Top Left of Page E1-1" or "Page E1 Note 8".
- Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code, 7th Ed.

 
Informational NOTE: Sheets FPS1 and FPS.2 are “REFERENCE” Sheets showing the underground which is not a part of this review. These two Sheets are shown for reference only.  
1) There is a HVLS Fan in the Fitness Room. The sprinkler protection pattern for the coverage of a HVLA fan does not meet the requirement of 13:11.1.7  

2) The Riser Detail “FP1 on Sheet FPN.2 indicates a riser with different components shown than that of the Spec Sheets provided. For example (but not limited to) the spec sheets indicate a “Shot Gun Riser” and the Riser Detail indicates individual components.

Provide the correct elevation and/or spec sheets for the components being installed.

 

3) There is a Reliable Model G Riser Check Valve Spec Sheet provided but not shown on the riser detail.

Will this Check Valve be used in the riser? If yes, show in the riser detail.

 

4) The Riser Detail on Sheet FPN.2 indicates an Antifreeze system is being installed. The Riser Detail does not provide enough information to show how the system is installed/connected to the riser/system. Also, I did not find any spec sheets on the antifreeze, tank, system, etc.

a) Will there be an Antifreeze system installed,

b) If Yes, show in the Riser Detail the antifreeze system, it’s connects, etc. AND

c) Provide the manufacturer’s specification Sheets on the antifreeze system

 

5) In regards to comment #4 above, if there is no Antifreeze System installed, How will the attic be maintained at or above 40° F? NFPA 13:8.16.4.1

 

6) Provide the List of Spare Sprinklers to be stored in the spare sprinkler head box(es). NFPA 13:6.2.9.5, 6.2.9.7.1

The list shall include the following:

(1) Sprinkler identification number (SIN) if equipped; or the manufacturer, model, orifice, deflector type, thermal sensitivity, and pressure rating

(2) General description

(3) Quantity of each type to be contained in the cabinet

(4) Issue or revision date of the list

 

7) I was not able to locate the system Air Vent. 13:7.1.5, 13:8.16.6

Point out the location of the air vent and provide the manufacturer’s spec sheet.
