	Plans for a private fire service main for an entire apartment complex. The main consists of 1650lf of 12" main, 1209lf of 10" main, and 780lf of 8" main. There are 9 private fire hydrants installed on 6" mains. The BFP is a 10" which then increases to a 12". The point of service is indicated as the 10" site backflow. The scope of this review includes back to the 10"x6" "T", which is where the main becomes exclusively for fire protection as defined by statute. The building specifics are as follows: Clubhouse 86lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Buidling 100 260lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Building 200 230lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Building 300 216lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Building 400 254lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Building 500 200lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Building 600 247lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. Building 700 150lf of 4" DR18 sprinkler main/bfp to 1'AFF 4" yard FDC Storz, tied into the riser AFF. This information will be copied to all buildings. 	RESUBMITTING: A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the permit center. B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (Job and Office). One copy of the removed/old pages from the JOB Copy will need to be submitted and marked "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated to this permit. All plan papers must be the same size. C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation. Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional. - The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comments was addressed. EX - "Top Left of Page E1-1" or "Page E1 Note 8". - Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed.
	1) Provide a yard FDC detail. Ensure that it shows the required check valve NFPA 24:5.9.3.1 and the automatic drain valve NFPA 24:5.9.4.1.
	2) Identify the pipe bury depth. NFPA 24:10.4.2.2, 4.1.3(8)(h)
	3) Provide hydraulic calculations per NFPA 24:5.2.1.
	4) A second isolation valve is required due to the number of connections. This includes hydrant connections. NFPA 24:6.6.1.
	5) The FDC for building 600 is actually directly in front of building 500. Ensure that you provide clear signage indicating which building each FDC serves. NFPA 24:5.9.5.7.
	6) Informational Notes -In the future please do not annotate on the plans in green ink. Our office utilizes green ink and it makes it appear as though the reviewer wrote on the plans. -Note 3 and 5 on sheet 15 of 34 are not applicable. Remove from plans for future submittals.
