1) Sprinkler plans indicate a single line into the building with a single riser. The underground site plan shown on Sprinkler Sheet 01 of 01 indicates the FDC is tied into the underground line. Approved underground plans indicate the Remote FDC is to the building as a separate line.

Where is the FDC connection?

2) The Riser Detail information calls out "Typical Dual Riser Detail "indicating more than one riser. The plan does not show the FDC line connection as approved in the Underground Plans.

a) If not more than one (1) riser show/correct title of "Actual" Riser Detail

b) If more than one riser, show location of risers with a detail

3) Riser detail shows an 8" capped Tee for flushing. The tee does not extend the pipe to the exterior of the building nor to a drain capable of handling the flow as per 13:16.10.4.4.

Show an elevation demonstrating the capped pipe to the outside or to a drain capable of handling the flow of the drain.

4) Packet missing manufacturer's specification sheets for the 2" drain valve, Inspector's Test-n-Drain / pressure relief valve, Electric Bell, Air Release Valve, etc.

5) Architectural Plans indicate HVLS Fans (2) in the warehouse section. Sprinkler plans do not show the location of the fans and that the meet the requirements of 13:20.6.7.1

Show the location of the HVLS Fans and demonstrate they comply with the following:

The installation of HVLS fans in buildings equipped with sprinklers, including ESFR sprinklers, shall comply with the following:
(1) The maximum fan diameter shall be 24 ft (7.3 m).
(2) The HVLS fan shall be centered approximately between four adjacent sprinklers.
(3) The vertical clearance from the HVLS fan to sprinkler deflector shall be a minimum of 3 ft (0.9 m).
(4) All HVLS fans shall be interlocked to shut down immediately upon receiving a water flow signal from the alarm system in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 72.  13:20.6.7.1(5), 72.21.8
