Please Review/Revise Pipe Sizing, Flow Rates and TDH Calculation Per ANSI/APSP 5 & 7: You are showing different sizes in several places and I'm tired of fixing it. Please note last January with the code change the maximum flow rate for return piping is 8 fps and 10 fps is not allowed per APSP/ANSI 5. Please update your paperwork.
NOTICE OF CHANGE IN CODE REQUIREMENTS: Per ANSI/APSP 5, section 9.2 Water velocity. The water velocity in the pool piping shall not exceed 8 ft per second for both suction and pressure piping, and shall comply with the latest published edition of ANSI/APSP-7 Standard for Suction Entrapment Avoidance in Swimming Pools, Wading Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs, and Catch Basins and the latest published edition of A112.19.8 Suction Fittings.(per FBC-R 4501.6.1)
