1. The Truss package designed to the 2010 FBC. Either resubmit 2014 FBC Truss package or letter from truss manufacturer engineer.

2. The narrow wall between garages appears to be approx. 9 inches in width. As per the Header Detail (page 3) indicates 2HS/3FL, assuming these are king and jack studs, there would be 10 studs (five for each header) which equal 15 inches just in wood alone. Please clarify what 2HS/3FL means and identify the uplift connectors for this location.

3. Please identify on drawings the method being used to provide uplift load-path from bottom plate to double top plates.

4. Please provide porch column detail identifying the connections to foundation and beams/trusses.

5. Please identify by detail the porch beam connection to exterior wall.

6. Please show required smoke/carbon detectors on drawings.

7. An additional fee due and payable at permitting shall be of $100 each for any second resubmission of plans. Per FL. Statute 553.80(2)(b), on any third and subsequent resubmissions that do not correct a code violation that is specifically and continuously noted in each previous rejection, a fee of four times the amount of the fee attributed to plan review will be charged. 8/5/2015 jdacosta
8. General Notes: Your re-submittal shall include two complete sets of plans. Please insert the revised pages into the plan sets, and pages removed from the stamped "Job copy" set, shall be marked as "old set" and shall be included in the re-submittal.
If old "Job copy" drawings, are not resubmitted there will be additional plan review fee charged due to the amount of time necessary to review entire drawing again.
ALL ITEMS changed or revised on plans and documents shall be identified by circling, clouding or identified by some other legible method. ADDITIONAL ITEMS MAY BE REQUIRED - DEPENDING ON INFORMATION AND CLARITY OF FINAL PLANS SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW.

9. Pen and ink changes, white-outs, or any such altering of raised seal engineering drawings, is not permitted under state laws governing the practice of Architecture or Engineering. All information on the raised seal drawings must part of the printed sheets at the time the drawings are sealed by the Architect/Engineer. 8/5/2015 jdacosta
