1. F.Y.I. As per the 2010 FBC-R Figure R301.2(6) - Termite Infestation Probability Map, Florida is located in a Very Heavy area for termite infestation and Section 318.4 discusses supplemental concrete foundation pours which will create a hidden cold joint. The drawings indicate expansion joints along all slab/stemwall locations possibly creating a problem and is not recommended.

2. Drawings indicate Batt insulation installed below the attic space whereas the Energy form and ES Report for Sealection 500 indicate spray foam insulation installed above the attic space. Please correlate.

3. The Spray Foam Insulation, Sealeetion 500, ES Report doesn't allow for attic space to be utilized for storage unless separated by an approved Thermal Barrier. Please identify an approved thermal barrier to separate the attic space storage areas.

4. Details for beam to post connection indicate Simpson ECC connectors. Please identify the uplift connections at the corner posts and at the connection of beam to main structure.

5. Please identify, by detail, the steel beam seat detail in masonry wall connection.

6. The submitted Truss Layout from the Truss Engineer are too small and illegible to read. Please provide a larger copy for review and inspection.
Also the Designer of Record must review sign and date all delegated engineering.

7. Sheet S2.1 indicates a full truss roof system whereas the truss layout supplied by the truss manufacturer indicates two areas of conventional framing. Please either provide the remaining truss engineering or submit conventional framing details.

10. The exterior wall finish is required to be a 3 coat 7/8 inch thick portland cement applcation using ASTM C926 (portland cement) and C1063 (wire lathe) Standards.

11. AS PER ORDINANCE # 98-42 An additional fee due and payable at permitting shall be of $100 each for any second resubmission of plans. Per FL. Statute 553.80(2)(b), on any third and subsequent resubmissions that do not correct a code violation that is specifically and continuously noted in each previous rejection, a fee of four times the amount of the fee attributed to plan review will be charged.

12. General Notes: Your re-submittal shall include two complete sets of plans. Please insert the revised pages into the plan sets, and pages removed from the stamped "Job copy" set, shall be marked as "old set" and shall be included in the re-submittal. If old "Job copy" drawings, are not resubmitted there will be additional plan review fee charged due to the amount of time necessary to review entire drawing again. ALL ITEMS changed or revised on plans and documents shall be identified by circling, clouding or identified by some other legible method. ADDITIONAL ITEMS MAY BE REQUIRED - DEPENDING ON INFORMATION AND CLARITY OF FINAL PLANS SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW.

13. Pen and ink changes, white-outs, or any such altering of raised seal engineering drawings, is not permitted under state laws governing the practice of Architecture or Engineering. All information on the raised seal drawings must part of the printed sheets at the time the drawings are sealed by the Architect/Engineer.
