Please submit the shearwall calculations and show shearwalls on drawings. Shearwalls are required by code to have double studs at each end of each shearwall section.

Please submit the uplift connection detail for quick-tie rope cable at second floor wall to Beam-2 from second floor top plate down to foundation.

2. Please submit the Florida Product Approval numbers for;

Quick-tie wire rope cables.

Epoxy for anchor embedment.

3. The drawings indicate insulation below the attic space with a vented attic whereas the Energy Calc's indicate unvented attic. Please correlate drawings.
 
If spray foam insulation is being used, please include the ES Report for the Spray Foam Insulation,

Please identify on report which method of thermal and ignition barriers are being used.

5 Specify/Detail on plans, the stucco application, incorporating the bond-breaker required by FBC-R, section 703.2.1.

6. Window sill height: FBC Section 1405.12.2 Window sills. In Occupancy Groups R-2 and R-3, one- and two-family and multiple-family dwellings, where the opening of the sill portion of an operable window is located more than 72 inches (1829 mm) above the finished grade or other surface below, the lowest part of the clear opening of the window shall be at a height not less than 24 inches (610 mm) above the finished floor surface of the room in which the window is located. Glazing between the floor and a height of 24 inches (610 mm) shall be fixed or have openings through which a 4-inch (102 mm) diameter sphere cannot pass.
 
Exception: Openings that are provided with window guards that comply with ASTM F 2006 or F 2090.

Please review and indicate on plans how windows above the grade level meet the new requirement.

7. Specify materials and attachment of structural closure required for wind-load pressures at ceilings of open porches on this Enclosed Structure. Reference FBC-R 703.1.1.

AS PER ORDINANCE # 98-42 An additional fee due and payable at permitting shall be of $100 each for any second resubmission of plans. Per FL. Statute 553.80(2)(b), on any third and subsequent resubmissions that do not correct a code violation that is specifically and continuously noted in each previous rejection, a fee of four times the amount of the fee attributed to plan review will be charged.
