1. This Addition/Renovation Appears to Trigger Substantial Improvement: Per Section 401.1 Amendments to the Florida Building Code-Building (Ordinance No. 2015-8), any combination of repair, reconstruction, rehabilitation, addition or improvement of a building or structure taking place during a five year period, the cumulative cost of which equals or exceeds 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the improvement or repair is started.

This Structure currently is required to meet AE-7 zone design.

- Provide a current Elevation Certificate showing the structure finished floor elevation meets or exceeds the current DFE (design flood elevation – base flood elevation).

- and/or please provide property appraisal substantiating additional improvements don't exceed 50% of the value of the house.
