1. Please submit the "Storm Room" specifications. If the "shelter" is a manufactured "Storm Shelter" the Manufacturer's Name shall be clearly stated on the drawings. The "shelter" will be reviewed against the manufactured approved drawings on file with the building department. If the "shelter" is to be constructed using one of the design drawings found in the publication: FEMA 320 Taking Shelter From the Storm, the detail construction requirements shall be provided either by incorporating the construction details on the construction drawings or by providing a copy of FEMA 320 Construction Drawings, the location shall be identified on the foundation and floor plans along with both the "gross" and "net" square footage.
