Effective July 1, 2008 St. Johns County will be required to enforce the installation of Carbon Monoxide Detectors in all new construction as per Rule No. 9B-3.0472, Florida Administrative Rule. Please identify on plans the locations of all Carbon Monoxide Detectors installed according to code listed above.

1. Window sill height: a new section, R613.2, in the 2007 FBC requires a minimum window sill height of 24 inches above the finished floor. There are several design options that comply with the new provisions, some of them may effect emergency escape and rescue openings and appearance of the building. Please review Section FBC-R613.2,engineered header sizes, ASTM F2006, and ASTM C2090 and indicate on plans how the second story windows meet the new requirement.

The proposal must include the followings: Total Number of Installed Piles, Total Length of Installed Piles, Piles installed in accordance with drawings and specifications, Exceptions to pile placements (as built), Description of installation equipment and procedure for installation, Blow count, and Site conditions.
