1. Specify on plans the type of protection for glazed openings in wind-borne debris regions. The wind-borne debris region is all of the unincorporated area east of I-95. (FBC 2004 R301.2.1.2)  

2.  Truss engineering must be signed off, by Engineer of Record, as meeting his design.

 

3.  Please provide truss bracing details for webs of gable truss (exposed to winds) and bottom chords
    of trusses(Drywall is not considered permanent bracing in Partially Enclosed designs). 
    Provide porch ceiling detail, bracing bottom chords.

 
4. Provide details on plans for flashing wall openings per BOAF First Coast Chapter Codes and Standards Committee Bulletin. www.firstcoastchapter.org committee codes&standards flashing bulletin  
5. Specify on plans the materials and means for separation of garage from habitable space; comply with FBC-R, section R309.2.  
6. Specify on plans the ductwork in garage; comply with FBC-R, section R309.1.1, OR specify 1-hr rated fire dampers at wall and/or ceiling penetrations, OR enclose equipment and ducts in separate closet with door as required by FBC-R309.1. No duct openings into garage are permitted under any of these options.  
7. Specify on plans the door material and thickness of door from garage to habitable space; comply with FBC-R, section R309.1.  
FYI: Due to the reduced size of these plans, it is especially important that the pages are clear and legible.
Please read the statement, below, and eliminate copies of copies from your submittals.

Plans must be legible. Documents will be electronically scanned in order to produce a final record, therefore all documentation shall be clean, clear and with sufficient density, having enough contrast to produce an acceptable scanned image.
 
FYI: Pen and ink changes, white-outs, or any such altering of raised seal engineering drawings, is not permitted under state laws governing the practice of architecture or engineering. All information on the raised-seal drawings must part of the printed sheets at the time the drawings are sealed by the Architect/Engineer.  
FYI: Review of the plans suspended. Provide two complete sets of new or corrected documents, and any original documents if marked or notated during the initial review. ADDITIONAL ISSUES MAY NEED CORRECTION, DEPENDING ON ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS OF YOUR RE-SUBMITTAL.
