	This home was determined to be substantially damaged following hurricane Irma (SD letter dated 8/28/2018). This project constitutes substantial improvement of a damaged building. Garage floor is below the design flood elevation (BFE + 1' = 7'). Hydrostatic openings required. 1)Openings must be within 1' of grade (or garage floor, whichever is higher) 2)Located on at least 2 sides of the attached garage (do not need to be opposing walls) 3)1sqin per sqft --> 418 sqin of coverage for a 418 sqft garage Please reference ASCE 24-14 for hydrostatic opening size and location requirements.
	HARD COPY ORIGINAL FINISHED CONSTRUTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WITH RAISED SEAL MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR C/O *No under construction elevation certificate was submitted for review before sheathing inspection - finished construction will serve as submittal for both.
