1. This project has been started and has not received an approved Clearance sheet and site-plan from SJC Planning and Zoning. Please submit those approved documents before proceeding.

2. The Scope of work approved by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has been exceeded. The permit calls for an 8 foot by 40 foot deck to replace one damaged by Hurricane Matthew. It appears that the deck has been increased in size and will need a new permit from DEP for the new construction seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL).

3. DEP permit indicates that their permit does not include any repairs to the Screened-in enclosure. The screened-in enclosure has been built without a building permit. No inspections have been performed. New permitting from SJC Building and DEP are required to keep screen-in enclosure.

4. Please submit drawings from a Florida Design Professional (Structural Engineer) for construction of new deck.
