It is unclear how the steel I beams are going to be connected. Please provide steel shop drawings.
5/15/07 Received shop drawing. However, it is lacking the details for the various joints or connections ex: B-4 and B-5.
Please provide these and all other details relating to this structure.
Also, please provide a letter from the Engineer of Record that he has reviewed these drawing(s).

A termite inspection space of 4 " is required by the 2004 FBC-R section 704 between the sheathing and the deck pavers and a 6 " inspection space between wall sheathing and earth.
Please specify this on the sheet A-3.

Sheet A-3 specifies the stucco to be 5/8" thick. However the code specifies it as 7/8" according to 2004 FBC-R2513.4.
Please make the necessary change to the plan.

A bond break is required between the stucco and the water resistive barrier as per 2004 FBC 1404.2.1.
Three methods are discussed in this section.
Normally it is accomplished by first applying a house wrap to the wall sheathing and then applying the paper backed lath over the house wrap.
Please address this on sheet A-3.

Sheet A-3 does not show a weep screed at the base of the stucco as specified by 2004 FBC-R2512.1.2.

Registered Architects or Engineers must affix his or her official seal to said drawings, specs, etc. as per 2004 FBC section 106.1. Please provide this seal on the Architectural plans.
