Plan reviewed for changes made to an existing fire alarm due to a remodel of an existing 16,983 SF Type IIB fully sprinklered occupancy.
The fire alarm monitors the existing fire sprinkler system, the duct smoke detectors and the kitchen hood and suppression.
The following items will be reused and NOT part of the scope of work due to being existing.(These items are subject to testing to assure compliance and operational)
Notification devices, wiring and raceways.
Existing SLC wiring and raceways
Existing Fire alarm and EVAC panels
The following items are new and included in scope of work
Addressable fire alarm devices (existing to be replaced)
Addressable relays for the activation of the lighting relay devices to restore occupancy sensors/ dimmable lighting circuits.
Relay to release electric lock on egress door upon fire alarm activation.
Monitor Relays for the duct smoke detectors
Monitor Relay for the kitchen suppression/hood
