2. The plans need to be sealed by an engineer.
In addition the engineer needs to provide a detail as to how he is going to prevent a hinge effect on the walls as the ceiling is raised 2 feet.
5/13/20 after talking to engineer, was directed to location on plans where this is addressed. OK'd

3. The product approval sheet was incomplete. All pertinent, items such as windows, roof covering, underlayment, steel straps etc. need to be listed and Florida product approval numbers provided.

6. On Page A-7, You Indicate you are pouring a 5 1/2 concrete cap on the existing garage floor, matching existing finished floor. Note: The Residential Building Code Section R309.1 requires that the garage floor needs to slope to the door.

In a conversation with the owner, she indicated that Impact windows where being installed. Please clarify on plans if impact windows are being installed..
Note: your property is not located in a wind debris area. Impact windows are not required, you can install if you wish.
