Plan reviewed for Gate House Fire Alarm System. The Gate House will be receiving (as they come on line) signals from the Oak Bridge complex buildings and transmitting the signals to the monitoring company.
Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective Dec. 31, 2020. NFPA 1 and 101 references are Florida Editions of the code in the FFPC.

RESUBMITTING: A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the Permit Center. B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (job and office). One copy of the removed/old pages will need to be resubmitted and labeled "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated in this permit. C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation. Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional. - The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comment was addressed. Ex - "top left of page A11" or "Page E1 note 8". - Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. (not Building Code)

1) 1 set of plans for 5 clearance sheets (M21-4383, M22-285, M21-6999, M21-4308 and M21-4310). This comment will not be signed off until both clearance sheets have all other comments addressed.

2) Need a Fire Marshals Permit Application for the Gate House along with the manufacturer's specification sheets for the devices and equipment.

3) Office 103 and main room 101 need visual notification devices. 101:9.6.3.5

4) The gate house is sprinkled. I do not see any tamper and flow switches for the sprinkler riser and connection to the sprinkler alarm bell. 101:9.7.2.1

5) The fire underground plan set has not been reviewed at this time. Should there be a Post Indicator Valve (PIV) such as are provided for the other buildings or a back flow preventer assembly (BFP) for this sprinkler system you will need to provide tamper monitoring.
Indicate this on the plans.
