Plans for a 1364 head fire sprinkler system for a 4 story apartment building with a clubhouse that is fire separated.  The building also has a Class 1 Manual Wet  standpipe system, which is a combination system with hose connections on all levels in the stairwells, and a connection on each side of the horizontal exit.   The system for the apartment (residential) area is NFPA 13D, the clubhouse area is designed as NFPA 13.  The building sprinkler system is supplied from the standpipe in stairs 2 and 4 on level 1.  The FDC is a yard FDC that is tied into the riser above the vertical BFP.  Per the building design team, the utility rooms that are indicated not to have sprinklers are for electrical/mechanical equipment, not for storage.  This is permitted by 13R 6.6.6.

1) The remote hose connections near the horizontal exits are indicated on the plans as being exposed pipe.  Per the EOR the pipe will be contained within the wall.  No specifications have been provided for the resessed hose station cabinet.  Ensure that the chosen cabinet meet the rating requirements for installation in a 1 hour corridor.
