Plans for a 6997sf 3 unit apartment building (triplex) that was reviewed using the apartments chapter.  The building will be provided with a fire sprinkler system and a fire alarm system to monitor the sprinklers.

1) Informational Only

The showers in this building are Zero entry, therefore grab bars are not required per NFPA 101:24.2.8.1.2.  An email from the architect indicating this has been printed and included in the plan package for the archive.

2) INFORMATIONAL ONLY NO RESPONSE NECESSARY:
The system(s) outlined in this set of plans is conceptual.

A HOLD has been placed at insulation inspection (109) until either: a) a permit has been pulled or b) a letter submitted from respective system contractor indicating no work to be done to the existing system:
- Fire alarm system (sprinkler monitoring)
- Fire sprinkler system

3) A fire alarm is required to monitor the fire sprinkler system.  A hold has been placed on the permit for this information.
