Plan for the installation of radio enhancement system (BDA) components for the clubhouse which is part of a complex wide, interconnected BDA System.  The clubhouse portion is for the installation of 2 antennae.  The complex-wide system is designed as follows: The Master unit and the roof mounted Yagi antennae will be installed in Flats 1, which will provide signal for Flats 1 and the clubhouse.  Remote unit 1 will be installed in Flats 2 and will provide signal for flats 2 and flats 3.   Remote unit 2 will be installed in Flats 4 and only provide signal for flats 4.  Remove unit 3 will be installed in the ALF building and will provide signal for the ALF and Memory Care buildings.  The remote units are connected to the master unit by dedicated underground fiber.

SmartGuard 1/2 Armored coaxial cable will be used in the buildings which meet level 1 surviability.  Splitters will be in J boxes to maintain the survivability.

RESUBMITTING:
A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the Permit Center.
B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (job and office). One copy of the removed/old pages will need to be resubmitted and labeled "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated in this permit.
C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation.  Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional.
- The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comment was addressed. Ex - "top left of page A11" or "Page E1 note 8".
- Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. (not Building Code)

1) The plans is sealed by Regina Bobo Jackson PE using a digital seal.   Provide an embossed seal or a wet seal.   Digitally signed and sealed plans are not valid when printed per 61G-15-23.004(3)(C)3.

2) The permit package has been submitted to provide a BDA system for the clubhouse only.  However the plans submitted show the BDA install for all buildings, even those that have not been submitted to our office for review/permit (Flats 3, Flats 4, ALF, and Memory Care).

Our office cannot review only the antennae arrangement for the clubhouse, because the antennae cannot function alone.  At a minimum to approve the clubhouse BDA, Flats 1 would need to be submitted with it.

Action: 1)Provide an application for each building that is included in the scope of the review at this time.  At a minimum for the clubhouse review you would need an application for the clubhouse and Flats 1, with the associated plans.

2) Remove the plans from the set that reference any of the other buildings that are not part of the scope of this review.  At a minimum, place a prominent note on the sheets that are not applicable indicating to some affect that the sheet is not part of this review and will be submitted separately.

You can submit plans/applications for as many buildings as you wish currently that have building permits.  Flats 3, Flats 4, The ALF, and Memory Care must not be submitted for review until after building plans are approved and a permit issued.

3) What is the intended propagation delay? NFPA 1225:18.8.2

4) What method did you use to layout your antennae?   Provide the calculations, heat map, etc. used in determining provided placement.  NFPA 1225:18.8, 18.9.

5) There are fiber lines indicated on the plans that are designated yellow in color.  Our large format scanner cannot scan in color, and I don't believe that a scanner will pick up the yellow symbols.  Please change the color from yellow to a darker color that will scan.
