Plan submitted for new 1503 head nfpa 13 wet sprinkler with 2 wet manual class 1 stand pipes and with what looks to be antifreeze system in attic. Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective January 1, 2021. Review by the AHJ shall not relieve the applicant of the responsibility for compliance with the Code.

RESUBMITTING:
A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the Permit Center.
B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (job and office). One copy of the removed/old pages will need to be resubmitted and labeled "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated in this permit.
C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation. Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional.
- The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comment was addressed. Ex - "top left of page A11" or "Page E1 note 8".
- Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. (not Building Code)

Make sure:
- the wet sprinkler Globe Universal Manifold Check Assembly has the option relief valve. 13:7.1.2
- a placard is mounted on riser that indicates the number and location of all remote antifreeze systems. 13:7.6.1.4
- a placard placed on antifreeze system main valve that indicates the manufacture type and brand of the antifreeze solution, the concentration by volume of he antifreeze solution used and the volume of antifreeze solution used in the system. 13:7.6.1.5

1) Unable to locate drain/test connections at most remote portion of the antifreeze system. 13:7.6.3.6 and 13:7.6.3.7

2) Unable to locate FDC specifics. FDC connections on piping LARGER than 2 inches shall be equipped with a five (5) inch Storz connection and shall have a 30 degree downward deflection. 13:6.7 24:4.8 Thursday, July 14, 2022 Response to comments indicate "details sheet showing the fdc has been updated to note the 30 degree 5" storz connection."

3) Looking at FPD.1, there is a blur of words at the top of the standpipe. Does this show a gauge? 14:5.5.1
Thursday, July 14, 2022 Response to comments indicate "Pressure gauge is located at the top of each standpipe. Please see the standpipe cross sections shown in the details sheet."
There is still a blur of words. Is this what you are referencing or is this on another page? If the tiny blurred together words reference gauges, clean up the print because it is not legible. If not, identify which page and location on page to find this.

4) Where is the valve to isolate each stand pipe? 14:6.3.1.4.1
Thursday, July 14, 2022 Response to comments indicate "Isolation valves are shown on the bulk standpipe layout sheet. Also each isolation valve is labeled in the keynotes section of the drawing."
