1) Unable to locate where this Grundfos pump is listed for fire protection. Point out where this Grundfos fire pump is listed for fire protection. 20:4.7.1

Tuesday, July 12, 2022 Response to comments indicate "The Grundfos pump is the jockey pump and is not required to be listed for fire service per NFPA 24-4.26.2 "Pressure maintenance pumps shall not be required to be listed"."

Show fire pump is listed for fire protection.

Friday, August 5, 2022 Response to comments indicate "The UL listing for the Patterson fire pump is labeled on the fire pump curve provided in the fire pump cut sheets (Catalog Curve A05-68472)" Handwritten response says "highlighted".

The highlighted section says it is "UL listed/FM approved". It does not say for fire service and Patterson pumps sells a myriad amount of pumps for multiple application uses. I called Patterson pumps and spoke with Doug Hogan. He looked up this site's information and confirmed that it is a UL listed FIRE pump.

2) Looking at FPD.4 fire pump elevation, where is the legend showing what the numbered items are? The legend to the right does not match image. Ex - Detail shows what appears to be the pump but labeled as "sprinkler head cabinet".

Tuesday, July 12, 2022 Response to comments indicate "The legend on the Fire pump detail sheet has been updated"

3) Where are the fire pump audible and visible signals located (at a point of constant attendance)? 20:10.4.7

Tuesday, July 12, 2022 Response to comments indicate "A weather proof audio/visual device has been provided by the fire alarm sub-contractor and is shown on the fire alarm drawings. Horn/strobe has been clarified on the fire pump drawing."

A device outside is not considered a constantly attended location. And this maintenance building is not showing that it will receive a fire alarm. Do they intend to put a fire alarm in this structure?

Tuesday, July 12, 2022 12:58:57 PM I called sprinkler contact and was transferred to someone's voicemail. I stated I do not see a fire alarm going in this building but this structure am being told this structure will have a horn strobe. I asked is this building going to get a fire alarm or will it be tied into another building (which none of those fire alarms have been turned in yet)?

Thursday, July 14, 2022 Sometime this morning I spoke with Ed Snider (EOR) that he cant control if a fire alarm goes here or not. He  just informed there was to be a horn strobe as that is what he saw the building plans reference. This is up to the architect to coordinate. I said I will just add a hold to one of the buildings that will have a fire alarm to remind me to look for this.

After I hung up with Mr. Snider, I looked at main building plans. Top left of E460 indicates "monitor fire pump and switches from building 5 fire alarm system". I added a note to the fire alarm hold to see fire alarm hold comment in approved building comments.
