1) During original building review there were multiple questions regarding the illustrated locking arrangements (original comment 9 and 13 shown on plan pages A2.01 and A2.02). To help the project get off the ground we added a hold at 105 framing to get this resolved. The hold read "Thursday, June 17, 2021 Since response doesn't address how sensor/access control door locks will not be locked from egress side of doors when building is occupied, Supervisor advised add hold at framing. Meeting will need to be scheduled with Supervisor, Design Professional and Owner prior to the 105 framing hold to be removed." This meeting has not yet taken place.

This meeting needs to be scheduled prior to REVISION resubmittal of the original door pages that had locking/latching arrangements. Those original door pages will need to be revised clarifying the locking/latching arrangement(s) throughout the property.

Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1p Meeting took place with owner representative and ADT. The Architect was not present. Explained the confusion of their submittal and went over resubmitting. Supervisor Gedris was going to allow just ADT resubmit their pages describing the locking arrangements meeting Code.

NOTE:  This submittal is rather confusing to determine which doors are getting which hardware. Some doors have red squares with blue dots, some doors have just blue dots, some have blue dots with push to exit buttons, on 2nd floor there is a red dot by itself. The legend does not address what a blue dot represents.

Also, there are no door labels. This is a problem if I wanted to make a comment regarding a door or a number of doors I have no way to address which door I am referencing.

This can all be addressed by having original door locking/latching hardware plan pages revised to meet the arrangement designed by the property.
