Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective Dec. 31, 2020. NFPA 1 and 101 references are Florida Editions of the code in the FFPC.

Friday, June 4, 2021 DF: Review of 2nd submittal.
NOTE: I spoke with John Babbitt with ARC# Architecture and was informed that this clearance sheet was not supposed to have been submitted at this time and that the pool contractor will apply for the pool permit at a latter date.

RESUBMITTING: Please make necessary changes and resubmit the complete permit application package. Response to comments / plans / specifications should be submitted to the Permit Center as a resubmission for the original project unless other arrangements are made with the Fire Plan Reviewer or the Fire Plan Review Supervisor.
To help speed the review process you should include a written response to comments summary to clarify and/or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting, or notations are best). Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. for all code reference in a response to comments. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.
The numbered items require a response or plans to be updated to complete the review.

1) There are three (3) 12' x 11.4; cabanas shown on the pool deck and within the plan set. You will need to do either of the following:
a) Remove the cabana's and their references from the plan set, OR
b) Obtain a separate clearance sheet for the three cabanas, OR
c) Have this clearance sheet modified to include the cabanas.

4) Provide square footages for the pool and the pool deck area inside the fenced in area and provide the pool (water) and pool deck area (encompassed in by the fence and buildings) occupant load in accordance with NFPA 101 Table 7.3.1.2.

If yes, Show on the plans the exit signage on the pool’s egress side of the pavilion.
Keep in mind the swing direction of the gates. Page AH102 shows all gates exiting the pool area opening inward save the gate exiting the restroom corridor. 101:12.2.10, 101:7.2.1.4.2

NOTE: If the pool chemical tanks are more than 60 gallons a separate Fire Marshal Above/below ground tank will need to be applied for.
