Plan reviewed for 8,480 SF, Type VB construction, 4 unit condo building that is protected with fire sprinklers (13r). 

Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective Dec. 31, 2020. NFPA 1 and 101 references are Florida Editions of the code in the FFPC. Reviewed as apartment.

Plans are NOT approved.

Review by the AHJ shall not relieve the applicant of the responsibility for compliance with the Code.
 

RESUBMITTING: Please make necessary changes and resubmit the complete permit application package. Response to comments / plans / specifications should be submitted to the Permit Center as a resubmission for the original project unless other arrangements are made with the Fire Plan Reviewer or the Fire Plan Review Supervisor.

To help speed the review process you should include a written response to comments summary to clarify and/or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting, or notations are best). Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. for all code reference in a response to comments. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.

The numbered items require a response or plans to be updated to complete the review.

 

1) The bathtub and shower(s) do not show grab bars. 101:30.2.1.3. Bathtubs, bathtub-shower combinations, or showers are present grab bars shall be provided in accordance with 24.2.8.

Provide exhibits showing compliance with 101:24.2.8 for the bathtubs, bathtub-shower combinations, or showers.

 

2) The fire code edition noted in the applicable codes is not correct. FAC 69A-3.012

Update and review the applicable fire code to the 7th Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th ED.

 

3) Pages FPS.1, FPS.2, and FPS.3 were not attached to the main plan set.

Before resubmittal, insert the FPS pages into the main plan set.

 

4) Only one set of Pages FPS.1, FPS.2, and FPS.3 were submitted.

Provide the second set of Pages FPS.1, FPS.2, and FPS.3 inserted into the plan set.
