4) Sheet A-010 NOTE #9 calls out special locking arrangements. Aside from electric, electronic strikes, will there be any special locking arrangements including Maglocks, sensor-release of electrical locking systems [101:7.2.1.6.2], Delayed-egress electrical locking systems [101:7.2.1.6.1], Etc.?
If yes, point out the location of the locking system, provide manufacturer's specification sheets of the locking system and demonstrate compliance with the locking system's code requirements.
------------------------------
Monday, September 21, 2026 DF: RTC: Yes, the doors with hardware type '1A' or '3E' are provided w / Electrical Locking Systems. Please refer to code reference notes beneath the Door Notes table on Sheet A-602 (provided on original submittal and not clouded) on left-hand side of the page, which address sited code sections. Notes have been added to the Life Safety Plan indicating the doors to have the electronic latch release.
Monday, September 21, 2026 DF: Reviewer's Response: In the RTC above hardware type "1A" and "3E" are called out as having Electrical Locking System. The Door Hardware Schedule has not been updated to reflect the electrical locking arrangement type for "1A". Door Schedule does not show any door having hardware types "1A" and/or "3B". Door Hardware Schedule calls out Door Hardware types 1B, 3E and 3J as the only door hardware types having electric strikes. The Door Schedule only shows Door C100 using electric strikes (hardware 3J).
Update the door schedule and the hardware schedule so they match.
