RESUBMITTING: A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the permit center. You may not make handwritten alterations on signed and sealed plan pages. B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (Job and Office). One copy of the removed/old pages from the JOB Copy will need to be submitted and marked "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated to this permit. All plan papers must be the same size. C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation. Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional. - The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comments was addressed. EX - "Top Left of Page E1-1" or "Page E1 Note 8". - Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code, 8th Ed.

3) An ENGINEERED sealed Design Criteria for a fire sprinkler system exceeding 49 heads is required to be submitted with the general construction documents. We are unable to approve the plan until this information is provided. It is not a full set of shop drawing FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 61G15-32.004 NOTE: At this time our office does not accept electronic signatures as we have no way to verify. Printed copies must be raised or wet seal and signed.
Provide missing Fire Protection Sheet(s).

Thursday, September 5, 2024 DF: The Fire Protection sheets provided provide information on the Sprinkler heads (ESFR) and little other information. No 61G15-32.004 information provided. There are two (2) Design Narrative Sheets with identical information with the following exception. One of the Sheets has the following declaration adjacent to the EOR's signature and seal: "This item has been electronically signed and sealed by Scott Peach, PE on date below using a digital signature August 13, 2024"
We are not able to verify digital signatures at this time. You will need to provide a Wet Seal and Wet Signature for these Sheets.
a) Provide a complete FAC 61G15-32.004 for this building, AND
b) Provide a Wet Seal and Wet Signature on these Sheets and the FAC 61G15-32.004

Owner’s Certificate.
The owner(s) of a building or structure where the fire sprinkler system is going to be installed or their authorized agent shall provide the sprinkler system installer with the following information prior to the layout and detailing of the fire sprinkler system [see Figure A.27.1(b)]:
- (1) Intended use of the building including the materials within the building and the maximum height of any storage
- (2) A preliminary plan of the building or structure along with the design concepts necessary to perform the layout and detail for the fire sprinkler system
- (3) Water supply information as identified in 5.2.2
(4)* Any special knowledge of the water supply, including known environmental conditions that might be responsible for corrosion, including microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC)

6) Thursday, September 5, 2024 DF: New Comment based on resubmittal review: I see that there is one of the three light fixtures fitted with emergency lighting. The Fire Pump Room is to be provided with emergency lighting that provide the entire Fire Pump Room floor area with 3.0 ft-candles of light and the EL is to have a minimum duration of 2.0 hours. NFPA 20:4.14.5
a) Provide Emergency Lighting Photometrics demonstrating the Fire Pump Room's Emergency Lighting is in compliance with NFPA 20:4.14.5., AND
b) Provide the manufacturer's specification sheets for the lighting/emergency battery demonstrating it meets the 2.0 Hr. minimum duration.

The minimum normal egress illumination along the walking surface of stairs during use is a minimum of 10 ft-candles [101:7.8.1.3(1)]
a) Provide normal egress lighting photometrics demonstrating the egress paths to all exits (including outside stairs from landings to the exit discharge) meets the minimum illumination of 1 foot-candles measured along the floor per 101:7.8.1.2.3(2), AND
b) Provide normal egress lighting photometrics demonstrating the exterior stairs are provided with normal egress lighting from the landing to the level of exit discharge of 10 ft-candles.
