Per the approved Life Safety Sheet; LS201 and the approved Electrical Sheet E202, the exit sign is on the egress side of the door (from secured side). The Exit sign on the provided Sheet LS101 shows the Exit sign on the ingress (Waiting Room) side of the door.
The door swing is into the secure side of the door. The Delayed-Egress Push Button and Signage is identified to be on the ingress side of the door.
a) How will the occupant exit through Door 118 from the Egress side with the Delayed-Egress releasing devices on the ingress side of the door?
b) If the door swing is to be changed to accompany the Delayed-Egress panic hardware; a Revision to the approved construction plans will need to be submitted for the door swing.
c) Identify which Push Button is going to be used and provide the manufacturer’s spec sheets for the push button to be used demonstrating it is ANSI/UL 294 compliant.
Identify on plans the location of the Push Button.
