6) 61G15-32(I) on Sheet 1 of 1 in the approved construction plans calls for a 10” DCDA BFP. The manufacturer’s specification sheet calls out a ZURN Model 350DA BFP. However, plans Sheet 5 of 5 identifies the BFP as a 10” “RPDA” BFP.

Update the plan sheet to reflect the correct BFP with tamper switches/devices.

---------------------------

Tuesday, November 1, 2022 DF: RTC: Backflow will be 10" RPDA.

Tuesday, November 1, 2022 DF: Reviewer's Response: The EOR Design Criteria requires a DCDA (model noted above) to be used in the system. If a RPDA will be used instead of the DCDA you will need to get the EOR to update the Design Criteria to reflect the change.

Tuesday, November 1, 2022 DF: I spoke with Mark Rogers with American Fire Service Inc. regarding the BFP. He said that he will get with the EOR and see about getting the BFP resolved. I agreed to hold the plans in my office until COB Thursday 11/03/2022.
