 Department IssuesSigned OffIntl

KT Carter Contracting, Ray Gauvin 354-9999

Plan REJECTED for submitting wrong set of utility plan. The utility plan that was approved in Development Review was revised 10/8/21 which moved the FDC off the building to freestanding in island closest to the this building.

Submittal sheets were submitted. The scope of this work appears to be removing 6" cap and extend 6" DR-14 approx. 90' with FDC with check valve teeing off sprinkler line before it enters bldg. and finish 1' above finished floor.

*Pipe being installed is required to be pressure tested. If it is an extension of existing pipe, new pipe must be isolated by a valve or the entire pipe will be required to be pressurized back to the backflow preventer. The plan appears to have an existing gate valve that may meet this requirement. A submittal sheet was submitted for a gate valve. If a new gate valve being installed, show it on the plan.

*A submittal sheet was submitted for a DCDA BFP. If a new BFP being installed, show it on the plan.

**Fire plan reviewer-If no BFP, make sure check valve in fire sprinkler riser.**
