Plans for a 95 head NFPA 13 Wet fire sprinkler system for a shell building with 1 remote area. The system is designed as Ordinary Group 2, .20 density. The exterior seating area is being protected with dry barrel sidewall heads.

RESUBMITTING: Please make necessary changes and resubmit the complete permit application package. Response to comments / plans / specifications should be submitted to the Permit Center as a resubmission for the original project unless other arrangements are made with the Fire Plan Reviewer or the Fire Plan Review Supervisor.
To help speed the review process you should include a written response to comments summary to clarify and/or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting, or notations are best). Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. for all code reference in a response to comments. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.
The numbered items require a response or plans to be updated to complete the review.

1) Provide material data sheets for all system components.

2) The riser diagram shows a yard FDC that is tied into the riser. The approved underground plans indicate that the FDC is mounted on the backflow.

3) Identify the relief valve or air reservoir on the plans/riser diagram. Provide specs. NFPA 13:7.1.2.

4) The building plans indicate that the riser will be heat traced to protect it from freezing. Provide specifications for the proposed product. Ensure that allowances are made for fire alarm monitoring of the heat trace.

5) The head spacing indicated on the calculations and the sprinkler criteria is 130sf per head maximum. The head spacing indicated on the plans appears to exceed this.
