Michael,

I have looked at your underground plan and it is not approved. You submitted RPDA backflow preventer submittal sheet which is what the plans call for the overall water main. However, since there is domestic water on the overall water main, our office only reviews the private fire hydrants and the two fire sprinkler lines.

-I need a submittal sheet for the DCDAs on the two fire sprinkler lines.

-The building plan is not approved yet so I cannot compare what the fire protection engineer calls for regarding size of the fire sprinkler lines. The civil plan calls for 8” so please confirm this with the fire protection engineer.

-Confirm with the fire protection engineer the FDC will be on the BFP and not on the buildings.

Once these three items have been addressed, I can approve your plan. The fee will be $150 which covers the grocery and retail bldg.. Do you want to pay online or pay when you pick up?
