The demising walls are rated 1 hr. Currently there is a business on one side and the other side is vacant.

1) The interior finish schedule on ID2.1 identifies a 1/4" rubber flooring on the floor and 42" up the wall.

This material is required to meet both the floor and wall finish requirement. See requirement below.

Wednesday, June 1, 2022 1358 hrs. DF: Spoke with the Architect Angela Hayman-Kent. Angela said that the rubber flooring meets the radiant flux test of NFPA 101:10.2 but the cut sheets did not specify the class rating for the wall. Angela will provide the cut sheets with the appropriate ratings at time of the Fire Final to the Fire Inspector.

Provide the Fire Inspector with the manufacturers specification sheet(s) identifying the product meets BOTH the wall and floor finishes requirements noted below.

INFORMATIONAL ONLY NO RESPONSE NECESSARY:
At the time of fire final be prepared to provide a copy of the manufacturer specification sheets to the fire inspector showing that each interior finish will meet:

- Wall and ceiling finish will meet Class A, B or C. 101:38.3.3.2.2

- Floor finish shall meet either: a) ASTM D 2859 for carpet and carpet like materials or b) has a minimum critical radiant flux of .1 W/cm2 for non-carpet flooring. 101:38.3.3.3.3.

If there are multiple finishes, label each spec sheet identifying each product, its location AND highlight the area showing illustrating it meets the applicable Code requirement.
