1) Plans call for a Model XPEB-48.00-S Hood. The cut sheet is for a Model XBEP Hood. This appears to be a typo? If so please update the plans or the cut sheet appropriately.

2) Plans include suppression sheets 4 of 14, 5 of 14, 6 of 14 and 7 of 14. Suppression systems/plans are require to be submitted separately.

3) Plans call for a 10" Round Double Wall Jeremia Duct. I spoke with Randy Crews from Tech X Services and he said that he thinks it is a single wall duct because there of the non combustible construction.

a) Determine whether it is a single wall or double wall and which model duct it is and update the plans accordingly.

b) Mark / Identify on the cut sheet which model duct it is.

4) Plans show the duct makes a "S" curve on the way up to the roof. I do not see any cleanouts. 96:7.4.1.1, 96:7.3.1, 96:7.4.3

a) Provide elevation(s) showing the location of the cleanout(s).

b) Provide size of cleanout.

c) Provide manufacturers cut sheet for the cleanout access panel.

5) Plans indicate the up blast fan assembly is hinged with a hold open device for servicing. I did not see the comment for a flexible weatherproof electrical cable. 96:7.8.2.1(8)

6) I did not see where the replacement (makeup) up air is coming from. 96:8.3.1

a) If the makeup air is from the A/C system, provide the calculations for the makeup air demonstrating compliance with 96:8.3.1.

b) If there is an independent makeup air system for the hood, show the information on the make up air system demonstrating compliance with 96:8.3.1.

7) Provide a rooftop elevation demonstrating compliance with 96:7.8.2.1.
