Plan reviewed for new fire alarm system: FACP - Notifier NFW-50X w/communicator, SAFE PATH 4 Facility Communications SP40S, SAFEPATH 4 Addressable Paging, Speaker & Telephone Splitter.

Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective Dec. 31, 2020. NFPA 1 and 101 references are Florida Editions of the code in the FFPC.

RESUBMITTING:
A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the Permit Center.
B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages in EACH plan set (job and office). One copy of the removed/old pages will need to be resubmitted and labeled "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated in this permit.
C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation.  Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional.
- The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comment was addressed. Ex - "top left of page A11" or "Page E1 note 8".
- Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. (not Building Code)

1) Occupant Load shown on sheet FA1.1 is 130 occupants. Construction documents sheet A0.3 shows the occupant load at 404 occupants (NFPA 101).

Update sheet FA1.1 to reflect correct occupant load.

2) Construction document sheet E0.4 in the Fire Alarm Notes states the CO detectors will have a different sound than that of the Fire Alarm System.

Be prepared to demonstrate the different sound that will not be comparable / mistaken for the fire alarm system.

3) The Fire Line Backflow Preventer's control vales are to be supervised. The plans and the fire alarm riser do not show the BFP's Valves are being supervised. 101:9.77.2

Demonstrate on the plans the BFP's control valves are supervised.

4) No manual pull station show at the left rear exit door by the restrooms.
