	Plan submitted to add 1 head for build out of a storage space. Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective January 1, 2021. Review by the AHJ shall not relieve the applicant of the responsibility for compliance with the Code. 	1) Due to the change of occupancy (shell designed for mercantile to storage), method, arrangement, height of commodities being stored this requires an engineering evaluation. While an owners certificate was provided signed by the owner only, you will need to first submit both of the following before a sprinkler review can begin: a) a copy of the owners certificate completed by the owner and architect. Also it will need to be sign/sealed by the sprinkler engineer. (We do not accept electronic signatures at this time.) b) a signed and sealed letter from the sprinkler engineer addressing if changes are needed to the existing sprinkler system. If changes are required he will need to articulate those changes.25:4.1.6 NOTE: This message was conveyed in a meeting on 9 15 22 at 2p (same day these sprinkler plans were turned in) with architect, Jason Canning and fire protection engineer, Mr. Alan Watts.
	RESUBMITTING: A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the Permit Center. B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (job and office). One copy of the removed/old pages will need to be resubmitted and labeled "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated in this permit. C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation. Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional. - The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comment was addressed. Ex - "top left of page A11" or "Page E1 note 8". - Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. (not Building Code)
