Plan submitted for relocation of 18 heads on an existing sprinkler system. Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective January 1, 2021. Review by the AHJ shall not relieve the applicant of the responsibility for compliance with the Code.

RESUBMITTING:
A. Make necessary changes and resubmit everything in person to the Permit Center.
B. Once at the Permit Center swap out altered pages or insert new pages in EACH plan set (job and office). One copy of the removed/old pages will need to be resubmitted and labeled "OLD". Do not forget to remove pages for work not associated in this permit.
C. Provide a response to comments along with any supporting documentation.  Response to comments is REQUIRED not optional.
- The response to comments sheet will need to include a response to each numbered comment and tell us where in the plans the comment was addressed. Ex - "top left of page A11" or "Page E1 note 8".
- Code responses shall reference Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. (not Building Code)

 		 

1) Page FP2 indicates the ware house is NIC. The warehouse is covered under the scope of the master permit. 1:13.3.3.4.1.6

a)Provide letter from the owner and sealed by designer articulating storage method, arrangement, height, commodity and packaging in the storage/warehouse area (including mezzanine). This will need to be provided to sprinkler contractor and turned in to our office for the record.

b) Provide a letter from either a sprinkler engineer or contractor confirming that the existing sprinkler design/hazard class will still protect this warehouse with the intended/desired storage use described by the owner.

NOTE: IF the existing sprinkler hazard class can not protect the intended storage method have sprinkler engineer or contractor guide you on alter method of storage that will meet the existing sprinkler hazard class.
