RESUBMITTING: Please make necessary changes and resubmit the complete permit application package. Response to comments / plans / specifications should be submitted to the Permit Center as a resubmission for the original project unless other arrangements are made with the Fire Plan Reviewer or the Fire Plan Review Supervisor.

To help speed the review process you should include a written response to comments summary to clarify and/or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting, or notations are best). Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. for all code reference in a response to comments. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.

The numbered items require a response or plans to be updated to complete the review.

1) Audible devices are required in all residential units. NFPA 101:9.6.3.5, 32.2.3.4.3.   Ensure that they meet the 15db above ambient or minimum of 75db as required by NFPA 72.   Will the smoke detectors with low frequency sounder bases sound upon building alarm?

2) Visible notification is required in the following locations.  NFPA 101:9.6.3.5, 32.2.3.4.3.

- All residential units
- Office 1007B, 1007, and 1121
- Storage 1010
- Office/Storage 1225
- Laundry 1110

3) I do not see a tie in to the kitchen suppression.  Add to the plans and matrix.

4) The following door were indicated on the original building plan review that they were going to be locked down, which is permitted.  But in turn it required that the door locks be released upon alarm.  It appears that some of the doors have magnetic hold opens which is fine, but the doors below must unlock upon alarm.  Demonstrate on the plans.
