Plan APPROVED for fire main for overall site, Kennel Staff/Training, Kennel B, Kennel C, Quarantine Kennel, and Food Storage building. 

Scope begins 8" DCDA backflow, 530 ft (+/-) 8" DR-18 to supply two private RED fire hydrants;  425 ft (+/-) 6" DR-18 to supply fire risers 1' AFF for Kennel Staff/Training, Kennels B, C, and Quarantine Kennels; 130 ft (+/-) 4" DR-18 to supply fire riser 1' AFF for Food Storage building also

Stub outs to Kennels A, and D, Vet Clinic, K-9 Training and Admin buildings. (These 5 buildings required separate underground fire main permit to finish to risers).

Fire Dept Connections are freestanding in front of each building with 5" storz connection. They shall have:
- 36" clearance in front and side of FDC
- Have check valve (NFPA 13)
- Have caps in place. (NFPA 24 5.9.1)
- Labeled as to which building is serves by either the address or building name. (NFPA 24 5.9.5)

Backflow preventer will be freeze protected and be electronically supervised per EOR of sprinkler on page FP1.1 and required by 101:42.2.4.1 101:42.2.5  101:38.2.5.2.1  101:38.2.5.3.1. Please provide accommodation for monitoring the backflow for the fire alarm contractor.
