RESUBMITTING: Please make necessary changes and resubmit the complete permit application package. Response to comments / plans / specifications should be submitted to the Permit Center as a resubmission for the original project unless other arrangements are made with the Fire Plan Reviewer or the Fire Plan Review Supervisor.

To help speed the review process you should include a written response to comments summary to clarify and/or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting, or notations are best). Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 6th Ed. for all code reference in a response to comments. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.

The numbered items require a response or plans to be updated to complete the review.

1)  Pull / Detector Notes:

Note #2: Added 2 Manual Pulls. Only one shown. NOTE: No manual pull shown at the 2nd floor exit door to the outside stairs.

Horn / Strobe notes:

Note #2: Added 2 wall mounted strobes (15cd) on circuit S-5. Only one shown on the plan; S5-7.

Note #3: Added 1 Ceiling strobe (15cd)on circuit S-5. Found 2 ceiling strobes; S5-5 and S5-9.

 

Add the missing pull station and update the plan to identify the correct devices added.

2)  Fire alarm device legend shows the duct smoke detector symbol with and "S" inside. On the plan it shows a "D" inside the symbol.

If this is the duct smoke detector update either the legend symbol or the symbol on the plan to match.

3)  Cut sheets provided has Notifier NP-Series Smoke Detector cut sheet. The plans do not show any smoke detectors.

Will there be smoke detectors installed? If so, show on plans.

4)  2nd floor offices 204, 206, 207, and 208 have solid wood doors according to the door schedule (permit #12007984). No visual notification devices found in these rooms.

How do you intend on meeting visual notification for these normally occupied rooms? 101:9.6.3.5
