The Fire Alarm Panel is required to comply with the equipment design function at: 1. 85% & at 110% of the nameplate primary & secondary input voltage; 2. at ambient temp. of 32 degrees & 120 degrees; 3. at a relative humidity of 85% & an ambient temp of 86 degrees. (NFPA 72:10.3.5)
The Silent Knight 6700 panel submitted meets the above. The systems for each building must pass the final inspection which may include readings of the temperature and relative humidity from within the closet in which the panel is located. Any failure of the fire alarm digital communicator panel and cellular communicator that may arise resulting in false fire alarms or failures found during periodic inspections determined to be caused as a result of the variations in temperature or humidity, or if excess temperature and humidity measurements are taken, the equipment will be required to be provided with an enclosure.
