Plans for a underground fire main for Building 1 that begins at the 6" backflow preventer (off of the 8" site main) and includes approximately 120' of 6" DR18 pipe, tying into a stainless steel riser sweep terminating 1'AFF. The FDC is a yard FDC tied into the underground main. The underground is included on a single set of plans with the site private mains and building 2 underground, so I have included the comments for the entire project under both building reviews.
Reviewed using FFPC 7th edition effective Dec. 31, 2020. Reviewer: PJ Webb 904 209 1744 To schedule fire inspections please call 827-6842 (automated system). Response to comments / plans / specifications should be submitted to the Permit Center as a resubmission for the original project unless other arrangements are made with the Fire Plan Reviewer or the Fire Plan Review Supervisor.
To help speed the review process you should include a written response to comments summary to clarify and/or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting, or notations are best). Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 7th Ed. for all code reference in a response to comments. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.
