Plan reviewed for revision to suppression. Scope of review is whole new suppression going from Ansul to Range Guard that is to protect same equipment L to R:oven, griddle, charbroiler, 5 fryers.  Reviewed using FFPC 6th edition effective Dec. 31, 2017.

Deep fat fryers shall be installed with at least a 16-inch space between the fryer and surface flames from adjacent cooking equipt. (Exception: A minimum 8 inch high steel or tempered glass baffle plate is installed between fryer and surface flames.) NFPA 96.12.1.2.4

Consult with your fire extinguisher contractor for this special portable fire extinguisher requirement, pay special attention to the following requirement: - mounted with in 30' travel distance of all cooking areas - placards shall be conspicuously placed near each extinguiher that states, "FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM SHALL BE ACTIVATED PRIOR TO USING FIRE EXTINGUISHER. (NFPA 1, 50.4.4.2)

Manual activation shall be located between 42 in. and 48 in. above the floor, be accessible in the event of a fire, be located in a path of egress, and clearly identify the hazard protected. It shall be located a minimum of 3 m (10 ft) and a maximum of 6 m (20 ft) from the protected kitchen appliance(s) within the path of egress. NFPA 96 10.5
