Page G0.2 indicates flooring will be carpet (F-1) and vinyl tile (F-3a and F-3b).Provide manufacturer specification sheets showing that each floor finish will meet either: a) ASTM D 2859 for carpet and carpet like materials or b) has a minimum critical radiant flux of .1 W/cm2 for non carpet flooring. NFPA 101 36.3.3.3. 1:20.12.3.3.3
Since there are multiple finishes, please labeled each spec sheet identifying each product, its location AND highlight the area showing illustrating it meets the applicable Code requirement. You may email a copy of the manufacturer spec sheets to either vvitori@sjcfl.us, sboike@sjcfl.us or pwebb@sjcfl.us. Make sure to include your permit number so the 105/framing hold can be removed.
Thursday, December 20, 2018 When talking with GC, BJ; I shared that we have not received interior finish specs. While he was sitting at the front counter he forwarded me an email showing carpet meets ASTM D 2859. I uploaded this image to Wats. He said he will send vinyl tile specs via email. I told him hold will not be removed until all is submitted.
