RESUBMITTING:  Please make necessary changes and resubmit the complete permit application package. We do not accept responses to comments/ plans/ specifications through email. Contact Building department for resubmittals.

To help speed the review process you should include a written comment response summary to clarify or illustrate corrections on plans (bubbling, highlighting or notations are best).  Please use the Florida Fire Prevention Code 6th Ed for all code reference in a response to comments. The fire plans examiner does not use the Florida Building Code. You are required to remove old pages and reinsert the new pages.

The numbered items require a response or plans to be updated to complete the review.

INFORMATIONAL ONLY NO RESPONSE NECESSARY:
The system(s) outlined in this set of plans is conceptual.

A HOLD has been placed at framing (105) until either: a) a permit has been pulled or b) a letter submitted from respective system contractor indicating no work to be done to the existing system:
- fire alarm system
- fire sprinkler system and Fire Pump
- fire underground

1.) Page FP3 box 61g15-32.003(4) indicates that the fire protection contractor will need to get their engineer to sign and seal the shop drawings. Per FAC 61G15-32.002(5)(6) after the Fire protection system engineering documents (Criteria) is submitted with the building plans, the shop drawings, when submitted, require no additional engineering input or seal.

Please either: 1) Remove this comment or 2)clarify the comment preparing the fire sprinkler contractor to provide: a) Have ___new engineer____ submit a registered letter to ___EOR____ notifying to reuse the already sealed contract documents therefore assuming all legal responsibility for the system in accordance with FAC 61G15-27.001. or 3) Have the owner or project engineer submit a letter to our office completely removing ___EOR____ as engineer of record for the project. or 4) Have the engineer of record provide a note on the shop plans they approve for design requirements and performance only.

Also 61G does not match  it shows an 8" main the shop drawings show a 6".

2.)  Since there has been major changes in plans dealing with fire pump, hydrant and FDC removal, and this does not reflect the original approved DRC plans,  A DRC resubmittal is required.
