Plan REJECTED for 100 sqft fire pump house. This is reviewed under 2010 Fl Fire Prevention Code and NFPA 20.
A fire pump bldg must be either:
*Protected with fire sprinkler system and rate pump house 1 hour or separated 50 feet from the bldg it is protecting
*Separated from the bldg is it protecting by 50 feet or rate pump house 2 hours. (NFPA 20, 5.12.1.1) Please provide documentation that a 100 sqft bldg is large enough to be able to make any necessary repairs on the fire pump.
