Received a revision to remove a hold for duct sizing (M-1). Please refer to 503.2.7.5 FBC-Energy Conservation Code and provide.

 1)      Recognized Engineering Standard :

·        ACCA  Manual D or other  Approved Recognized Standard

or

     1)  Calculation of the supply air (CFM):

·        Each room shall be based on the greater of the   heating or sensible cooling load for that room.

     2)  Duct size shall be determined by supply air requirements of each room:

·        Available static pressure

·        Total Equivalent length (various duct runs)

·        Note:  Total Equivalent Length refers to the measured length from the farthest longest supply outlet through the equipment and to the farthest return outlet plus the equivalent lengths of all turns and fittings.

   3)  Fiction Loss:

·        Data shall correspond to the type of material used for construction
