Plan APPROVED for change of use from a fire station to a 4200 sqft church with a kitchen and offices. This bldg is not currently protected with fire sprinkler or fire alarm system. This is reviewed under 2010 Fl Fire Prevention Code as assembly.
Occ load: 76 chairs in worship area 18 platform 20 mtg room 3 kitchen 3 office 5 storage/receiving

Locks on exit doors or access exit doors shall not require the use of a key, a tool, or special knowlege or effort for operation from the egress side unless they meet the requirements of NFPA 101, 7.2.1.5.

Please provide building numbers that are a minimum of 6-inches high on the building and/or suite(s) for commercial. These must be visible and legible from the street, therefore the address number may need to be larger than the minimum 6". (NFPA 1, 10.12.1.2)

The Grease Exhaust Hood and Fire Suppression system noted throughout these plans are conceptual. A separate permit will be required by the Fire Marshal. A HOLD will be placed on the building permit and NO INSPECTION will be done until this permit is submitted & approved.

If this is light-weight truss-type construction (repetitive wood or light guage steel framing) placement of approved Firefighting Safety Warning Sign (Maltese Cross) shall be placed on structure in accordance with FS 633.027 and FAC 69A-60.008 (size, color, height placement)

FS 633.061 requires a license or permit of organizations & individuals who: service, recharge, test, mark, inspect, install or hydrotest fire extinguishers. It will be necessary to use a Licensed Fire Extinguisher Contractor for identifying the location & type of extinguisher to use.
