3) The wall between the proposed space and the pet supermarket must either be a 2 hour wall, or the building sprinkler system must be electronically supervised by a fire alarm system, which includes all sprinkler valves including the backflow preventer.  NFPA 101: table 6.1.14.4.1(a), and 9.7.2.

----------------------------

Response to comments indicates "the building owner's representative stated that the building has an electronically monitored fire protection system.  The system is monitored by Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers.  A one-hour wall is all that will be required."

Please note that as indicated above in the original comment, all sprinkler valves including the backflow preventer must be electronically supervised by a fire alarm.  The response was regarding the monitored fire alarm system.  The original comment was regarding supervised valves.  Based on a site visit by the fire inspector supervisor, the backflow preventer is not electronically supervised by the fire alarm system.  A 2 hour wall is still required as originally noted, indicate this on the plans.  PJW Monday, September 13, 2021

-----------------

The wall has been changed to a 2 hour wall using the UL 263 V45 assembly indicated on sheet A-7.  PJW Monday, October 18, 2021
